I managed major motion picture locations in Central and Northwest Arkansas in the 80's and 90's. I worked in IT management for the University of Arkansas for the last 25 years and retired in January 2017. I taught Photojournalism for the last 20 years, have managed commercial photography studios/operations and have managed video production operations/facilities. I've scoured the state in pursuit of outdoor recreational diversions as well as scouting film locations. I am keenly aware of the objectives a film company encounters while shooting on an active location, as well as determining where the next and future locations and or cover sets may need to be depending on weather/talent availability and or other variables, and the need to pivot and adjust accordingly.
