The 1836 Club is an exclusive club for professional men and women to enjoy good company, food, drinks and cigars in an environment designed to foster new contacts and opportunities. The 1836 Club is named for the year Arkansas achieved statehood. Located in the historic Packet House, The 1836 Club embraces the rich history of the home and the state of Arkansas. The Packet House is one of the oldest remaining homes in Arkansas. It was built in 1869 by United States Senator Alexander McDonald. As you walk through the 12,000 square foot home, you will be amazed by the beautiful architecture, well preserved features of the home and the modern amenities provided exclusively for our members.
