For years this historic theater, built around the 1930's, was the go to spot for weekend dates and family outings. Today the theater is managed by KIPP Delta Public Schools and is often utilized for concerts and conferences. In 2004, scenes from "Walk the Line", the Johnny Cash biopic, were filmed outside the theater.
